bought a sidecar that needs some fixin up, that includes a windshield. i havent been able to find any onlie so im thinking about what else would fit? sowmobile, boat, maybe evan a bike windshield could work? i have evan been told i could possibly make one from shaping plexi glass. any clues on any of this?
Have you tried the sidecar manufacturer?
Making one shouldn't be too difficult but I wouldn't use plexi due to strength. Lexan is much stronger, you should find it near the plexi at your local home center.
What kind of sidecar is it? Can you post a pic or two? There are many different styles of sidecar and not all would look good with the same windscreen.
The one my sidecar can be purchased by itself from Motorvation, if that helps. I know other makers also sell various windscreens.
Of course, you could just go without. To me it's a close question. I opted for it largely for looks and maybe it will keep a little wind off the kids.
