Wow.. if they come in my tire size, I'll definitely be buying a set. It'd be nice to have that much mileage come out of my tires!

Hope the tire compounds have improved the only Michelin I ever tried was hard bike wanted to come out from under me on the slightest curve when wet , tossed it in less than 3 weeks . Indian dealer I worked for had a huge pile of Mich. 16" fronts I was told were pull offs never would tell me why .

I would be happy to get 1/2 of that 25,000 miles on a rear tire!

I replaced the stock D407 on my 09 Ultra at 12,000 miles and I could have put another 1,500 miles on it. I have now an American Elite which is supposed to last longer. We ride 2-up 99% of the time and the roads in PA are very tough on tires.

My OEM Dunlops (D407/D408) on my StreetGlide gave me 18K and could have went a little longer I think....maybe 20K. I bought another set.

You have a much bigger/better tire on the '09 Harley than I do on the old '02 bike. I do good to get 7k on the oem tires. I now have the E3s on my Ultra. While I think it's some better than the oem tire, I don't believe it will get 12K miles.

What's the price? I never had real good luck with Michelins ... and like above, Dunlops have been good to me.
25K is great if it's the same price as the others.

No info on price. The 180/65-16 American Elite is now listed at $177 on Jake Wilson's website. It was listed at $152 a few months ago.
I don't expect Michelin to be cheaper than Dunlop so who knows what the price will be.
