I am getting ready to put on a Screamin' Eagle Stage I Air Cleaner 9the round one) and I want to do away with the OEM cover. I am having a difficult time find options outside of the one on the Harley website 28728-10.
Does anyone know the exact size of this and what other covers may fit? Will covers for the Arlen Ness Big Sucker fit?
Im running the 9" nostalgic round cover from HD on my softail I ran the billet cover.
Almost any cover will work, some of the HD ones need the spacer (a thick washer) Any cover that fits the Ness Sucker should also work there are dozens of choices
Ypu can even not use a cover and just dress it up with a center piece only
Theres always the 6 inch saw Blade you can use to just cover the front, leave the ROUND airfilter show, Looks BAD *** ( polish up the saw blade till it shines)
I used a Zippers element and a 6" round Chrome Smooth Billet Cover. I like the Zippers because it is 5/8" deeper than the SE. You can use any 6" cover if you want an open look like I have. http://www.zippersperformance.com/ca...=588&prod=2202
