I'm the same height and weight and no problems with mine. 35K on the clock.
I did find putting a new set of bars on that put my hands back a little were a big help in comfort on long rides.
inseam is the big issue here though as we're all built different. 33 inseam for me.

5'8" & 145lbs (30" inseam).

I changed out to a lower seat (Mustang) and have no problems sitting flat footed on my 2010 SG.

2011 Ultra Classic here. I am 5' 7" with shoes on (not boots) with a 26-27" inseam. My bike is stock and I am no where near flat footed on it. My SIL has an 09 SG that is stock. I don't have any more foot on the ground with his really due to the wide nose on the stock seat. I doubt you will have much issue either as long as your legs are proportionate to your height. I look like Dorf walking around in person though. If you are unsure who Dorf is then check here.

I think everyone has you convinced on height/fit...as far as handling - just gotta get used to added weight. I upgraded from 500lb Sporty to 800lb FLHX and the SG really handles much better than I expected w/the extra 300lbs. Just get your tight turning skills honed & you'll be good to go. I say head to the dealer & get one out on the road...bet you end up bringing 'er home. Good luck!

You'll love it. 5'9 165, 32" inseam. Flat footed stock but went with the Mustang Low for the wife's comfort and put me an inch or so lower. I like the SG better for handling than my Dyna Low Rider. I would test ride one at the dealer and I've read the 2012 seat is a little lower than my 2010 was. Great Ride!!

Inseem matters more than heights. I couldn't flat foot at 5'10 185lb untill I stood up over the seat. I changed seats and now can flat foot sitting normally on the bike. 2010 SG
