Default Guardian Bells do work

A friend on his way back from Harley dealer 50 miles away when 18 wheeler lost a long metal piece of angle iron. Lucky he was in his truck, and not on his bike due to weather, because the iron crashed the windshield on the passengers side of vehicle. The windsheild shattered, and lots of damage to the cab as only you can imagine while traveling 70 mph. I was suppose to make the trip with him, but something came up. He claims if there would have been a passenger, their would have been injuries. The only thing in the passenger seat where I would have been sitting was a Guardian Bell he had just purchased for me. So, I guess they really do work. Any suggestions as to where I need to hang it on my 07 Street Glide?

I have a buddy that buys/sells wrecked HD's. He has a drawer full of bells that he has taken off of them. He said nearly every bike he gets has a bell on it.

Not to highjack but when a friend gave me mine I thought she was goofy. 2 weeks later I wrecked. Surrounded by trees, poles, guidewires, and I landed a foot shy of a pole. Bike was relatively unscathed. I BELIEVE!

I'll take my chances WITH my Gaurdian Bell, it was the first addition to my bike from a very good friend.
