OMFG! You can buy Softail Heritage handlebars (09-11) like the ones on my 08 Roadking & with a little modification done for the TBW you can be in these for $51 from Zanottis. While they only have like 13" of rise, they are the best mod I have done to my bike. Very comfortable!
I spent about $500 on WO502's INCLUDING clutch, brake lines and extended wire kit (TBW didn't need to be extended) and did it myself in about 8 hours total. That's including my mess ups and beer breaks. It's not hard, just quite a bit to do. The only thing I worried about was the ABS but I managed to avoid getting air into the ABS module. I just cracked open the MC cover and tied the brake lever and let it sit overnight to let all the air bubbles float out.
I'm 5'8" and the bars are just at shoulder level or below depending on my riding position. But like someone else said, even tho I'm happy with these, if I had to do it over again I would've gone 14"
