Haven't read the whole thread but in case someone has said this I don't want to sound like I am piling on. Just want to give some advice to you and others.

First if you used your CC stop reading this and file a charge back now. you'll want a non performance chargeback because they significantly provide the service you were charged for that shouldn't be a problem and you could be made whole by COB today.

To begin with nothing I say below is an excuse for them ****ing you out of your money. If they truly did not do that upgrade it is called fraud and that goes beyond small claims court that is a criminal act.

Take your evidence to the cops and INSIST they file charges. They charged you for work they had no intention of doing and did not do. They are fully aware of not doing that work and that shows intent. You have all the elements you need. Now go hammer their little dicks but first....

Here is a big part of the problem. YOU... there I said it... AFTER the issue you looked at the NOS bottle and mounting and realized that was wrong. You did some research and found that they probably didn't do the 107 kit. Why in God's name did you not do these things earlier? Nevermind there is no legit reason and not interested in excuses

No you aren't a mechanic but you are the owner and the guy ultimately responsible for the safety and well being of your bike. I troubles me when I see owners throwing money at bikes and not knowing what they are doing.

You should have done the research BEFORE you got hammered and you wouldn't have gotten hammered. You should have checked the NOS install before you drove away not after it went wrong.

If you are going to ride a 2 wheeled vehicle down the road at highway speeds (whatever that may be) or even just cruise around your town you are the one that will get ****ed up if something goes wrong. You are the one that may hurt or kill someone else.

Throwing money at something is no excuse to ignore those outcomes.

It isn't my bike it isn't your wife's it is yours and you better start doing more, learning more to ensure your safety. You better start making sure you know what work your shop is doing and make sure you ask the right questions anything less is irresponsible and plain lazy. Get it together.

Now with all that said I am really sorry to hear you are going through all of this. Ultimately there is no reason why they should not be held accountable for this and I truly and sincerely hope you work this out and things go better for you.

Trust me I know how it feels to be in a position where you feel like you are the center of a a universal conspiracy to get ****ed by everything one and thing.

From what you have mentioned they sound like a **** poor place to do business with. I would take the documentation, pics, and some statements from a dealership and take them to small claims court. F..k em…

Holy Sheeeeeit! No need to know the names. A picture is worth a thousand words! That there is why I'm grateful to my Dad. Taught me to be mechanically self sufficient!

When the new mechanic opened up the motor that was less than 2 months old, this is what we found:

I believe the mechanic said the crank was grooved, the pistons were scored, the cylinder were scored and the .640 cams they installed were damaged as well.

Now I need to either purchase a new motor or fix the cancer.

Forgive me, I do not know the correct terms for the motor.
