Default Dead Rabbits MC NY?
Im having a pretty lively discussion with someone who like me has an interest in early New Amsterdam / NYC gang history. he sez there is actually an MC called Dead Rabbits MC in NY. Havent ever seen em and no info on line. Without givin too much anyone ever seen or heard of em. I got a case of brewskis ridin on this answer. Flame on!

The original dead rabbits was a gang in the mid 1800's. They rode horses back then.

The Dead Rabbits were a gang that originally inhabited the 5 Points section of lower Manhattan. Long before motorcycles.

It's pretty safe to assume by the OP that he's well aware of the historical aspect of the name, that's sorta the point of the thread...

To the OP, I've never heard of a Dead Rabbits MC, but a google search does get a few hits.
With the huge number of MC's and RC's out there, I wouldn't be suprised if there a few out there with that name.
Hopefully someone from the area will be able to help you out, instead of just regurgitating information you obviously already have.
