We joke around at work, how do you tell the best Chinese restaurant? The ones that don't have cats hanging around the dumpsters......heheheheh
I don't know, maybe I'd like to see cats running around outside. At least then they wouldn't be on the menu.
Yeah, from what I see on the telly, the "eat anything you can catch" thing makes me ill to think about it. On Globe Riders, they passed a woman with a plate stacked about 2 feet tall with huge fried spiders. The German rider dude actually ate one if you can believe it. Later, in the street, he got stopped by some guy who ate a huge fat grub or something and it exploded when he bit it and ran down his chin. Heathens I say.
When I was a kid, my Dad had an HD jacket that he bought in the early 70's, it was high quality and thick as hell (the way they should be). Years later my oldest brother went down on the freeway while wearing it and it saved him from a lot of pain and scars. HD has not sold jackets like that in many years, no matter where they are made.
Good luck with the China-direct jacket as it will likely be the same product, but you may be better off buying a non-HD jacket of higher quality. You can always sew a patch on it if you want, at least that way you won't look like every other wannabe at the local hangout.
I will stick to buying american,we have a few shops here in NH that make their own leathers and the quality is good and the price not bad.rather support an american than a chinese.
I too would like to hear how this makes out (quality wise). Checked out the website, Oakleys for 13.00 ?? ...Chinese knock -offs ?...so wonder what quality the jacket has ..? Posting an update would be uber cool.
The website shows a bunch of different brands of clothes, from HD to professional sports teams. The NFL lives to sue people for illegally using their logos. There's no way these could not be knock-offs. The company would be shut down so fast for exporting illegally branded goods. China is working hard to improve their image in the global market so even they frown on now.
Now if it came from Vietnam or Malaysia then i would be really worried.
