Default Anyone else gone through this situation??

I bought a new 2011 Fatboy Lo in April 2011. I was content with the bike and recently visited a HD dealer to return some Xmas gifts. While there, I saw a new 2012 RK in Midnight Pearl. Now I can't seem to get it out of my mind. I'm kicking myself for not test driving the RK last spring (I test rode the Fatboy and Fatbob). I have some upgrades I want to do to the Lo, saddlebags and bars, but am hesitant to put money into it when deep down I am dreaming about trading my current ride in for a RK. Part of me says be happy with what you have and make it yours.....the other says trade for that beautiful RK and take the butt whooping on the trade in value.
Any advice for those who can relate?

Don't do it. There will always be something 'better' that you pine over.

This is true. With as many styles, colors and accessories as fish in the sea there's bound to be others that catch your eye. Invest in making it your own, log a few miles an before you know it you'll be inseparable.

Try selling the Fat on Craigslist or eBay or your
local paper to get more of a full value for it instead of trade-in value.
If it sells for full retail get the new bike, otherwise, keep what you have
would be my advice.

Go for the RK if you can afford to take the hit.

Talking I know the feeling...

When the 2012 touring bikes came out, with the 103 CID engine stock, I was pissed I didn't wait till 2012.
Then I came to my senses and realized the people who should be pissed are the ones who paid extra for the 103 in 2011!

You really shouldn't get in a big twist about it, it'll just drive you nuts.

Nope. Both of mine were love at first sight.
I might get a SG in the future to add to the stable.
