Ever wonder what happened to you previous bikes? I'm on my fourth bike (my second Harley). I catch myself looking at pics of my old bikes and wondering, "where are they now?" My first bike was an '87 Honda VT1100 that I customized and made my own. Traded it in and wonder if it's still on the street. I really hope so. Same goes for the Triumph and Wide Glide. Just hope they're not insanely better than when I had them. Kinda like seeing an ex girlfriend that's now a lawyer.
Naw; I sold most of my bikes 'cause there was something I didn't like about most of them, but there are 2 I wish i never sold & I know where they are--my '05 RKC is in Indiana;guy flew down to Florida last year & bought it sight unseen, made up a cardboard plate, & rode it home. My '05 NightTrain is now for sale on my local Craigs; tech from my dealer bought it when I traded it in, then he traded it for a new SG, and the new owner is now selling it. I recognized it 'cause I always haunt the local Craigs. I would consider buying it, but there have been too many mods made that I don't like.
My old buddy Mike in NYC still has my '84 SuperGlide that I sold him 22 years ago. My old friend Butch from NYC bought my old Norton Commando. He moved to Tampa a few years ago & found out I lived here, too when he found me on Facebook. Turns out my old Norton is in someone's garage in Jacksonville with a blown engine. My '90 Softail Custom is in Clearwater, and my '99 Softail Custom is in Lakeland, and my '08 SuperGlide Custom is in St. Petersburg. My '01 LowRider is in the neighborhood somewhere-sold it to a local buddy & he sold it to a local friend. I see it once in awhile in my neighborhood;it was mint when I sold it;it's a disaster now. Shame. (last I heard)
Here's the REAL kicker you won't believe--Last summer, I dated this chick who rode--turned out she has my old 35th Anniversary SuperGlide. Even still has the paperwork from when it was new with my name on it! How's THAT for coincidence?
Would really love to have that NightTrain or that '05 RKC back.
My buddy who bought my SuperGlide's brother still has my '72 Pontiac on Long Island, and my '39 Buick is in England.

While my green Sporty was great, the only previous bike I really think about much still is my Nighttrain.
And I happened to see it last September.
Didn't get to find & talk to the new owner, but after it sitting at the dealership for 8 months, I was happy to see it sold and back out on the road at least.

dickey you seem to keep good track of your previous bikes and cars...
Now the only one that ended up with a (I'm sure beatiful) chick, you happen to end up dating her.... so you can relate to her immediately and talk her about coincidence and destiny... haha well done!
Smart guy, thanks for the tip! from now on I'll be keeping track on my stuff when I sell it too..
Sold the only other bike I've owned to one of my best friends. I didn't want to sell it to him because I knew he wouldn't ride it and isn't very good at taking care of stuff. But, money talks and he offered me more than what I could have gotten anywhere else.
