Got one the other day and I can say that it rides like a dream. On the highway the 6th gear is like eating a huge stick of butter.. It's so smooth.. When you let off of the throttle it's like tossing an anchor off the back of the bike.. The fat tire and forks on the front makes bumps and grooves a thing of the past.. The stock seat and low center of gravity really does feel like you are sitting in the bike.. You feel almost no vibration at all.. I'm 6ft and have no problem with where the controls are in relation to the placement of the stock "hollywood" bars are set.. The exhaust needs to be replaced but it always needs to be replaced.. Hope this helps..

the Switchback would be the new bike I'd be the most interested in. hopefully they'll make some without the goofy wheels

I just bought the Slim. I have a pretty tricked out Street Glide and wanted to add an Old Shool looking bike. I was looking at used Cross Bones when I saw the Slim last week. For 2-3K over what low milage used Cross Bones are going for I got a new bike with warranty and a 103". I test rode it, bought it and left it at the dealer for head work, cams, exhaust, air cleaner, a tuner, and found a used CB black springer to put on it. I'll post pics and riding impressions when it's done.

I've been looking at the Slim or the Switchback to add to my garage. Looking for something to ride everyday. Have a RK but around town it's almost too large. Where did the Buells go.

No one ever laid on their death bed saying I sure am glad I didn't have the things I wanted in life. Sportsters are made to be traded within a year.

This moved all the controls closer so that she could reach everything comfortably.
What seat did you use?
My wife went for a test ride today, loved the bike. Needs a reduced reach seat, they say no solo reduced reach seat. No sale.
