You should see the morning highway traffic through Dayton. 3 lanes: Right two are clogged with drag-*** Semi's and the left lane inevitably has some ***-hats cruising 1/10th a mph faster (if at all) than the semi traffic in the right two lanes.
By the time you snake your way outta that BS, you're ready to kill someone.
Oh no, morning and afternoon commutes here are like that too. There is a reason why, if you are ever in So Cal and ask someone how far a place is from where you're at, we tell you in time, not miles. LOL My original post is about when traffic is actually MOVING. LOL
I'm usually 80-85 in the left lane. I'll move over when I can if I'm overtaken. But, somebody sticks their grill on my a$$ (without flashing lights and a siren) I tend to get a little edgy. You'll most likely be seeing brake lights or I'm taking my foot off the gas.

you guys are seriously gonna brake check a vehicle that weighs 4 times as much as you? thats a good way to end up as a grease spot on the highway. that will have shown them, huh?
To the guys who posted that they "always" ride/drive in the left lane.... sorry but you're an idiot. Ask any experienced LEO and he'll tell you, you are 3x more likely to get a speeding ticket in the left lane. Stay in the right lane. Go as fast as you like... pass on the left and get back in the right lane. I learned this from a state cop buddy about 15 years ago and haven't gotten a ticket since. Oh, and I go 80+ about all the time on bike or car when I'm on the highway.
Interesting?? 80 in the right lane???? Your gonna get a ticket no matter what lane your in ace.
Right lane=
1.Way to much shufflin going on.
2.Merging traffic and gators.
3.Lane all torn up from big rigs
4.People passing on the right cuzz idiots drivin the speed limit in the PASSIN LANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate left lane coc**suc**ers. You use it to pass and then you get back over. In most states the left lane is for passing only and is not a travel lane. Brake checking because you're camping in the left lane and being tailgated? And people wonder why they get their asses kicked or shot these days.
Myself being a jerk it wasn't me. I don't make a habit of going slow or riding in the left lane slow but if I did----so what. I hate tail gaiters more than ******** holding up traffic in any lane by going the speed limit or less.
If you have a group hogging the left lane, you are asking for an accident. You are going to get passed in the right lane and merged into if there is not enough room to pass everybody. You will not get away with blocking the fast lane and not allowing anyone to merge into your group. Just move the f*ck over.
I admit that I only read the first few posts and got pizzed. For all you people that think it is fine to ride/drive in the "fast" lane as long as you are going the posted speed limit, you are wrong in most states. Usually the left lane is for passing, not cruising.
Left lane drivers/riders are a pain in the *** and create traffic blockage and incite road rage in us unstable highway users. MOVE OVER!
Here`s my take on this , as long as I am doing the speed limit I feel I can ride in any lane I want to, Call it the fast lane but does not give you the right to Speed over the posted speed limit... Emergency vehicles I merge but just because someone wants to go faster than the posted speed limit does not constitute me moving around just so he can go faster...
Well aren't you just a self important douchebag. It's people like you that need to be dragged out of their cars and beaten with a stick.

Here is another way to handle world-class idiots on the road. One day I was driving in the right lane when I catch up to the traffic in front of me, I signal to pass, move over and overtake the vehicle, then signal and move back into the right lane. This guy I just passed got so pissed off that he starts flashing his headlights behind me, moves over one lane to the left and speeds passed me so he could cut me off, slam on his brakes and flip me the bird through his back window. He has now slowed down more than 20 mph below the posted speed. I was gonna just let it go and pass him again but when I did, he stomped on the gas to get right on my right side so he could show me his middle finger some more. That was the last straw. I just smiled at him, turned on my signal light and moved back in the right lane, which put his *** in the ditch. Oh, did I mention I put him in the ditch approaching a bridge over the river? Down the bank and into the water he went! I figured he needed to cool off his temper. I just did what I could to help.
