Tough decision and tough crowd, LOL, ...Only you know how bad you want it. I admit I drool a bit when I see that SE CVO Full Dresser, and if I did have the coin to throw around, I would have one in a heartbeat. You would think the MoCo would cover every inch of that ride (Bolts Included) , but then again these days they want you start shopping even before you ride it off the lot. No doubt about it, the Bike is nice (understatement I know), and for someone to ride the hell out of it, is better than having sit as garage jewelry. See lots of Euro sports car over here in Europe, and Italians make sexy and fast machines, (cars and bikes, etc) they just tend to be finicky and pricey to fix or maintain ...so hope those cars come with required Enzo Qual'd Mechanic ..LOL. If you pick that bad Yellow Boy up, PLEASE post some riding pics for those of us who can't afford the 40K, but can still admire.

$40K for a bike??? Not a chance, unless all the chrome on it was replaced with 24 carat gold. I would use it for a new pickup truck, but that's me. I will admit is is a sharp bike, though.

I toyed with the idea of a CVO when I was in the market a few months ago but didn't like any of the paint schemes. Ended up adding the GPS and iPod interface to my new Ultra limited before I took delivery. Saved 15K and got a much cooler paint job.

Default Hey, like where could I take a look at that?

Then I saw it. Damn. It drew me towards it like it had a tractor beam on me. A 2012 CVO Ultra Classic in bright yellow. My heart started pitter pattering and my palms got sweaty and I knew I was in deep kimchi. Before I could escape, the salesman saw the look in my eye and moved in for the kill. He didn't even have to try and sell it. I was mesmerized. I've been very pleased and satisfied with my 2009 Ultra Classic and put some 35,000+ enjoyable miles on it and couldn't have been happier. Until today.

No, I didn't buy it. Yet. I was able to run away and partially come to my senses. I just need to figure out a way of erasing my memory and completely forgetting how it made me feel sitting on it before it's to late.

$40,000 they are asking for it as configured. For a bike? Thats crazy!!!
More than double the price of mine now. I know I am not going to sleep very well tonight.

It looks something like this in case you were wondering...
Really, I've been looking for one just like that, and I've got a pocket full o cash...

Red Rock Harley Davidson here in Las Vegas has the one I was looking at.
I'm still very much on the fence about it so you better book the next flight out of Illinois if you want to latch onto it.

$40,000 today could potentially be over $100k when you retire. That's probably about $5,000 in anual income if you leave the principal intact. Depending on how you invest.

Take $5,000 today and put it in your bike. It may not add any value to it bike in the back end, but will ultimately cost you less than the depreciation of the CVO.

Just my $0.07

Step away from the Showroom....Which is the lesser of two evils? Get the bike on impulse and regret it later or backing away to think about for a few weeks? You make the call.

The angel on my right shoulder is telling me exactly this.

It's the devil on my left shoulder that wants me to buy the bike.
