Honestly... I would leave that bike right where it is. You have a nice bike...a few K in upgrades will give you want you want not what someone else thinks you do.

Spend wisely and save for your retirement and then spend all that filthy cash !! That's what I'm doing lol

What does your current ride lack?? Swap the engine for a lot less $$. A few other upgrades and you're still in good shape with your retirement and a nicer ride.

What ever you do, don't ride it.

I think that would be a wiser decision.Plus after you spend 40K on the bike you'll still have to spend $$ to make it run decent,or at least to get rid of those cats.

BS, everyone knows there are no $10 parts at the HD dealer.

I was at one of our local dealers today, he had two of those bikes, the yellow you saw and a orange/black. Both stunning

I'm on the other end of the spectrum- I depend on new buyers to make used bikes for me to buy. I love a good deal way more than any bike. I don't think you should buy it, but if you do, I bet you'll love it.

The CVO's are pretty intoxicating but for about 6K you can drop a SE 120R or similar after market engine into your UC and it would kick the **** out of the CVO.
Hell if you really have a boner for yellow you could kick in a little more $ and have your UC painted yellow.

So for under 10K you could convert your UC into something more awesome than the CVO (performance wise) and with a new engine, it would be like a new bike.
