Seems like for the last 2 years I see more and more dealers selling V Rods pretty much close to cost.I know it's winter here in the Northeast, but you can get a 06 Street Rod for almost $4,000 off MSRP. I went into 2 different dealers looking at bikes and both are pushing the V Rods like crazy. No matter what model you're looking at they ask " have you everthought abouttheV Rod " and if you say no then they practicly beg you to take it for a ride.I hear they sell real good in Europe, but how much longer are they gonna sell them here if they aren't making any profits off of them.
I have only rode a v-rod a couple of times, but that is one heck of a good running and handling bike. I would love to have that power plant in a Dresser. I know it would not be tradtional air-cooled HD, but sometimes you have to change to get more performance.
