Default Morning Commute

It was pretty nice having a brisk 70 mile ride into work this morning. My truck has been in the shop for since last Thursday so I have been on the bike every since. The temps have been in the mid-50s and low 60s on the rides into work. And then around 80 for my evening commute. I figure its not a bad way to break in the new bike. I picked up my bike a little over a month ago with 41 mile and have put on over 1000 in the last two weeks.

Glad you are enjoying your bike. Most of my miles are commuting. A lot more fun than working. Best part of the day.

Don't forget your 1k service.

In New England, we had that weather last week. This week, low 40's with 25-30 mph wind gusts.

I also use my bike to go to work and find it tough to fight the urge to just pass the place up and keep riding.

I too have been riding to work the last few weeks alot, as we are in the dry season so less chance of heavy afternoon showers during the ride home.

Aside from the retarded morning commuters, and the distracted text-messaging teens on their way to school it is a great ride.

I live only 5.5 miles from where I work so I sometimes take some inventive routes to get there.

I commute on my bike about 80% of the time.
I get to work feeling good with a smile on my face-
If ya gotta work might as well enjoy the ride in

I'm just listening to the radio - apparently there's been an accident on my route home, so I'll have to take the scenic route instead. The weather is lovely and I'm outta here in 30 minutes!

YEEEEEAH!!!

Got about a 50 mile round trip ride to work. Weather is in the crapper this week though. Lucky if I get to ride in once. Maybe tomorrow if I dodge the AM showers. Storms the next day and cold front moves in.

I really wish I didn't have to dress up for work. I ride on casual friday.
