Default Jockey shift- kinda sorta?

I have no desire to convert my scooter to a "full time" jockey shift. But I have seen some bikes that seem to have a *kinda-sorta* jockey shift that works in conjunction with the standard foot controls. Am I losing it or is this available? Comments and sources will be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, there are some bastardizations of foot clutch/jockey shift set ups. Don't bother with some half-assed set up. Go all the way one way or another.

never seen that. Why not just go with a jockey shift and add a rekluse clutch, that would solve the stopping/starting issues that most dislike about the jockey setup.

Maybe I'm dreaming, but I seem to remember seeing a short Jockey type shifter in place of the shift linkage on some touring bikes. Just something kind of neat that you might use occasionally.

I've seen what I think you're describing. The bike I saw had the standard hand clutch foot shift but also has a hand shift attached. The arm of the hand shift is on the left of the tank, but sort of curves a little over the tank so you can shift it with your right hand.

well hand shifting is as natural as Harleys, lol.....pretty much 60 to 70 years ago if you wanted to ride you had to shift by hand.

I like a shifter beside my left hip, sorta like a lightning bolt, where my hand falls naturally, never liked a tank shift, & for a clutch I like one thats either in or out.

I seen one set up like that. dude came up to me and said something like ...cool , u run a jockey shift to ?? .what he had was a stock deal except for some reason there was also a hand shifter added to the foot shift linkage. I don't like calling things gay , but if I ever did , that would be it . I just walked away

Jockey Shift on a modern Harley should be a a felony in all states.
