How many miles to empty is reading on the odometer and how much fuel does it take to refill the tank? If your gas gauge is working fine, it is one of the few that do.

One of the first thing that pilots and motorcycle riders should do is simply tape over the gas gauge, it will only lead to trouble in the long run.

Funny how this works out but the gas gauge on my Heritage is spot on. The light comes on between 1/4 and empty. My speedometer is also spot on as I have checked it against my GPS.
