2012 streetglide gas gauge is working fine but low fuel light doesnt come on?Talk about it...

How many miles to empty is reading on the odometer and how much fuel does it take to refill the tank? If your gas gauge is working fine, it is one of the few that do.

 

Get it fixed or do as most riders do and know how many miles you can go on a tank of gas or both.

 

Did you let the tank get empty enough? I know that the gauge on mine ('08) has to be almost buried on E before the light comes on.

 

Lucky you, mine comes on with the gauge still showing 1/4 tank. I just use the trip meter to determine when to fill up.

 

One of the first thing that pilots and motorcycle riders should do is simply tape over the gas gauge, it will only lead to trouble in the long run.

 

Funny how this works out but the gas gauge on my Heritage is spot on. The light comes on between 1/4 and empty. My speedometer is also spot on as I have checked it against my GPS.

 

Mine comes on with 40 miles left.

 

mine comes on When I have 1.5 galons of gas remaining. Teh gas guage hits E with 2 Gallons still ion the tank.
