The difference between a Honda and a Harley is like the difference between a hand job from a fat chick and head from a hot woman that really can suck a golf ball through a garden hose. Either one will get you there, but which one would you rather be seen in public with?

Like going from Rosie O to Jennifer Anniston. You'll notice the superior quality, fit & finish, & wonder why you waited so long. Oh yea...chicks'll look at you a littler differently...like why are they stuck with that boring, effeminate accountant of a husband when they could wrap their legs around something exciting.

Last summer were were out riding with our wife’s and two other couples when we stopped at a local HD dealer that was having demo rides.
I tried to talk them into riding one and he kept saying no. When I explained that all you have to have is the license he finally agreed and wanted to ride a Road King. We got back to the dealership after about 12 miles and he was all smiles. He walked up to me and thanked me for pushing him to ride it and then said “I do NOT own a Motorcycle”.
Like many here I owned several Honda’s back in the 70’s and they served me well. Owning a Harley is the ultimate!
Good luck
I remember my friend John driving me to pick up my first Harley. On the way back, I finally talked him into riding it part of the way. He said, "You're right. That's a motorcycle. Mine is just a toy." He had a CB750.Originally Posted by Cosmic Razorback

Apparently he realized riding a motorcycle wasn't his 'thing'? If so, luckily he found that out before seriously injuring himself or going too deeply in debt.Originally Posted by cficole

I would tell anyone to stay with the Honda if you don't like getting compliments every time you stop for fuel, food, corner store etc. You will be hearing very often "I love your bike"....."Nice Bike".... "Love the color"...."Nice Harley"...."Your bike is awesome Bro". All of this interaction with people you don't know really gets old. Also, for some reason kids on school buses love Harley-Davidsons and will be constantly waiving at you or giving you a thumbs up and you will of course have to acknowledge them...unless your an *******. If you buy that HD just know you will be catching smiles and glances from strange women while stopped at red lights or just during a casual ride. Oh, if you live in or near a college town don't be surprised if these young college girls ask to go for a ride when you least expect it. Any of this feel familiar on anything other than a Harley? One last thing, don't take it personal if you come across men who appear to be pissed off at you for no reason whatsoever. Its jealousy, plain and simple. They either don't have the nads to buy a Harley and ride or their wife won't allow them to have one. So, just be warned you will have to deal with that every now and again.
