Some of the 06 models have a "6-speed Cruise Drive" transmission.

What makes this a "Cruise Drive"?

I cant find any info on the website that elaborates on this or gives any technical details.

I got the 6 speed part

Its the "Cruise drive" part that I'm wondering about.

What makes cruise drive different from the SE 6 speed tranny?

I'd take a guess here and say the new and improved version, probably just marketing hype, but we shall see.

That's exactly what I was thinking. But H-D used a different set of ratios for the new bikes as opposed to the old. Is this purposly deceving or just a change?

its something that will cause you to pay more for the bike!!.......at the same rpm as the previous years bikes!!
