Default Pushing apes forward opinions

Couple months ago I put some 16 inch wild one on my heritage. Main reason was my back hurt on longer rides. The bars are currently in line tihe the forks. I like the look of pushing them forward a bit but would that just put me back in the position of leaning slightly forward making my back hurt again?

Depends how far forward you can just rake them forward slightly to see how it looks and hop on, if its an uncomfortable position you usually know pretty quickly but with your arms thrown up your back should be better, I'd say maybe only shoulder issues a little.

it'll take you 5 minutes to put them that way, and 5 minutes to put them back if you aren't comfortable after your ride

Me, im getting mini apes so i can bring them a bit foreward. Ive had 8 back surgeries that have left me a gimp, being able to hit the drivers backrest and have my arms bent instead of stretches out with these stock sporty bars kills me. Going to do a 3 inch lower also so the line of the bike maintains its cool factor with the apes pulled a bit towards me more.

Unless apes force you to sit straight up or slightly forward you are defeating the purpose of utilizing them for back problems.

Plus, they'll look bad ***...
