Thanks for the reply's guys. Some were helpful, some were good conversation, and others, well we will leave it at that. Life is too short to argue on a forum, and I would rather be putting the rubber down, so I don't get offended at other posters. This is all opinion, and no matter what, I know who I am and others know who they are (I hope..hahaha)..so to all of you...have a wonderful Fathers-day weekend, and stay safe as there are allot of cagers driving around from car-show to restaurants all weekend long!

I can assure you all of the posts in this thread were good natured. the subject of "the wave" comes up incredibly often, and a lot of us like to take a humurous look at it.
if you think these responses were rough, wait till you ask about oil

Brian, speaking of oil? What kind of oil you run'n in that double banger your ride'n.........
If I see you I will wave. Doesn't hurt me to acknowledge another rider. If they don't wave back I do give a crap. I figure either they didn't see me or they have issues.
So I picked up my new to me 02 Deuce in Brownsville Texas a week ago, and rode it back to West Virginia for a nice little 2300 mile trip. But the strange thing to me was the fact that as I was riding I probably passed around 400 bikes. This was due to it being the end of the holiday weekend and all. passing all of these bikes on the highway and side streets, I had only about 20 wave back to me?! I was a little surprised and disappointed. Believe it or not, the only ones that waved back were kids on sport bikes and a select handful of Harley riders. When did it become unpopular to wave?
I'll wave @ ya...just don't ask me about chaps, or fingerless gloves.
