Just wondering if there is the custom of having poker runs out west like there are here?If they do have them out west what does the typical run consist of?
Yup, we have 'em out west, lots of 'em. Starting point, (usually at a bike shop or the club house of the club puttin' it on) sign in, get your run pin, then the traditional 4 stops at various bars to draw your cards, then the final draw at the end where there is a bar-b-q, band, beer, games (on and off the bike) and raffles for prizes.

I thought they had a big doin's just NE of Phoenix last Sept early Nov. I was talking to few guys out there while I was visiting my son. They didn't use the term poker run. Maybe it was just a bike ride. All I know is there was a big hullabaloo because one town they had to go thru to get there didn't want em around.
