And what is the officer supposed to do when he catches up to the criminal? I doubt he/she would be able to perform a PIT maneuver. heh.. That's an invitation to death if you ask me. If I was an LEO, I wouldnt want any part of it.

Buddy of mine has one of those, heck of a bike. I have been offered a chance to borrow it a few times. NOOOOO thanks, I have been here 42 years and I am not ready for a dirt nap just yet....

You could always ride past at 180mphsay 20 miles ahead of the suspect......stop, have coffee, donut, more coffee, and wait for the unsuspecting perp to round the bend and shoot him........

When the cop is travelling 180 you don't need to outrun him. Just slam on the brakes and he'll be clear across the state line before he can slow enough to make the U-turn.
