Open face helmet advice
Greetings,
I'm looking at getting a low profile open face helmet.
Does anyone have any advice/info on the best ones to get ?
I like the look of the Bell vintage and Davida Jet helmets.
I'm in the UK too...

I just bought a Daytona Cruiser 3/4 for a trip I am taking (I usually ride a 1/2 non dot around town). I looked at every 3/4 I could find, and the Daytona was the lowest profile and lightest I could find.

I use the Bell Custom 500, it is not the lowest profile bit it fits great and does not lift off your head at highway speeds.

picked up a simpson 3/4 a couple of weeks ago...really high quality helmet. dot and snell approved. was a close-out for $70. look at motorcycle cruiser on their website--most of their stuff is high end car racing stuff. the motorcycle gear is reasonably priced and very high quality. best helmet i have owned in many years.

I got a scorpion with the drop down visor and it is pretty good. Use to have a hjc and it did its job when the head hit the pavement but they dont make that model anymore. My sugestion would be to get one with a zip out neck curtain for colder weather.
