chaps
bought me some chaps the other day wore them home the weather has been really hot in the midwest lately 100s thought when we put them on man this is going to be a hot azzz ride home but was kinda surprised as we hit a few stop lights they protected my legs from all the heat the motor was throwing off. just wondering how many ride with chaps in screaming hot weather

shiet ballz, no! Not here in SC at least. Triple digit numbers, no thank you to chaps. I have found that for me to like wearing mine, it has to be between 30-60 degrees. Any lower and they get so cold that they are useless, and any hotter then I'm sweating in them.
Still a new rider and haven't really done much distance or inclement weather riding, so I have not done more than try some on. When I do get around to getting some, anyone got any recs?

I have found that it must be a very narrow temp range for me to be able to wear mine. Usually somewhere between 68 and 73 degrees usually works. Otherwise my butt cheeks either get burned or frozen by the seat. I suppose I could wear pants under the chaps but that kinda defeats the whole purpose doesn't it?
