Cobra or venom

I've had good luck with Venom's on my Sportster's. One of the best things about them is they made my bike ride smoother over small sharp bumps. My indy said he was told that the Cobra's will soon replace the Venom.
When I need new tires for my King I'm going to try out the Cobra and I hope they will ride softer like the Venom did.

my last front tire was a venom, have a cobra now (due to a venom being out of stock at the time), and to be perfectly honest I like them both more or less the same.
I think the venom dealt with tar snakes and grooved surfaces a little better than the cobra, but not so much so that i would not buy a cobra again.

Totally agree.
When I was at the NYC Bike Show in January I stopped by the Avon booth. They were promoting the Cobra's really hard compared to the Venoms.

I have never had anything but full confidence in the Venoms holding the road and we have some serious twisties for those who like to play . Times come I'll look into the Cobra's but that's another season at least .

.. I 've been runin venoms fur 10 years , just swiched to Cobra Front , 4 weeks ago , Rode-um 500 miles last weekend and I Like-um ,, Gunna Switch my Rear next summer too Cobra ...

I think the Cobra is a better tire, but it isn't available in the wide variety of sizes like the Venom. As a result, I'm running a Cobra on the back and a Venom-X on the front. It rides great, and I'll do this combo again.
