Bad day

I am on a 11 day trip from Washington State to Colorado. Today I drop into Colorado from Laramie, Wy and my downloaded GPS route from the Harley Ride Planner gets me lost and I loose two hours and will have too skip Steamboat Springs. When I finally get on tract, I get behind a car going 10 -20 miles below the speed limit on a two lane road I can't pass on. After many miles of me waving, flashing my lights and blowing the horn she pulls over. I was practically a stark raving lunatic by then. When we finally get to the hotel my wife puts her new $600 helmet on my right foot peg. I then get on the left side and ride to our unit dragging the helmet. I am sure glad today is over.

Put your wifes helmet on the right side & drag it around so it'll match.Sorry you had such a "turd" day.Tomorrow's gonna be GREAT! Keep telling yourself that.

There Ya' go. Never ever trust a GPS unit, Just get on the scoot and ride.That's what it's all about anyway.

I would still be suffering buyer's remorse if I ever spent 600 on a helmet.

sounds like you fell into getting to the destination as opposed to enjoying the trip. try to calm yourself down, your blood pressure will thank you for it. besides, if you had relaxed some, you might not have scratched up your wife's helmet.
