My new to me bike has a tuner with it. The service adviser suggested putting it in the dresser drawer at the house. That seems logical so it's safe, unless I take a trip and then I presume I should take it along with me just in case since it wouldn't do much good from hundreds of miles away. So, do you leave the tuner at the house all the time unless you are going on a trip or keep it on the bike all the time?
As my Power Vision is a flash tuner I keep in on the bike to create logs, monitor various Chanel's, and sometimes to change tunes when the need or desire arises.
I currently have X14iED's on one bike and a PCV on another. Both are piggybacks, so they are on the bike at all times.
In the past I have used SERT's & TTS's that were flash tuners. Stayed in the shop except when going on an extended trip, they they were were packed on the bike...never needed on one on the road, but had it with me just in case.
TTS Mastertune on my 2010 is a software application and it stays on the bike 24/7. When I need to mess with it, I hook my lap top computer to the bike.
