Use both always, unless I leave it in front of my house for a short period. It would still be protected at that time by the alarm with the fob. And it's insured anyway.
Don't even know where my key is.... Must be a city thing
Thats how I feel....I very very rarely lock my bike's switch, I have never locked the forks...If some one is gonna take it, they are gonna take it....Thats what insurance is for...If your company doesn't pay out like their supposed to, i'd say find another company....Every claim I have ever made on mine (wrecked car) they paid me $5k more then was owed on my car....But I shop smart and never pay retail....so there for I am not upside down to get screwed.
I paid 6k for my bike which still books at over 9....Please some one steal it, so I can make money!

I can't remember ever locking the bike while on a mission. I also don't remember my bike ever being out of my sight while on one either.

And it's attitudes like this, along with some actual situations of it, that cause insurance companies to raise their rates so stinking high. And, deny claims for people not doing everything in their power to prevent the loss.
