granted I ride older bikes so this may not apply , but I keep a couple of tie-downs with me in case I have problems and somebody with a truck (or trailer)offers a ride.

A dozen men-at-arms, twice as many household slaves, a few spare horses, and a wagon-train with provisions for a month....

Oh, you mean when I'm out on the bike. A bottle of water and some Altoids.

partial roll of duct tape, sipon hose, black electrical tape, a cargo net, hat, doorag, shop towel, spare glasses if you wear them, ear plugs, medical card, leave a list of where your going and who your going with, with a family member. it is scary when the cops pull you over and they tell you, you have been reported missing.

Riding a bagger, this is easy.

2- Wife (optional, but preferred)
3- tool kit (pretty complete)
4- tire repair kit (plugs and patches)
5- 12v air pump (bike already has a power receptacle)
6- 1 qt Mobil 1 oil
7- a few rags (mechanic)
8- several assorted bungies
9- racheting tie-downs (16ft)
10- 2 LED and 1 mag flashlights
11 - 2 GFRS radios (with extra batteries)
12 - spark plugs
13 - tshirt (cleaning rag)
14 - Atlas
15 - Blackberry and cell phone (different services, with extra batteries)
16 - 2 MRE's (don't taste bad and last a LONG time)
17 - appropriate clothing (pants, shorts, undies, socks etc)
18 - first aid kit (nice one I used for offroading and camping, with meds)
19 - 2 qts drinking water (perfer Gatorade bottles)
20 - Helmets, doorag, beanie, gloves, jacket(s)
21 - knife and gun
22 - papers (license, insurance, registration etc)
23 - little money ($20 - $60), credit card or two
24 - good attittude

Always looking forward to that next ride.
