technically erroneous, cHarley, police IS singular, defining a group, policeMEN would be plural, requiring the 'are', VBG However, does not the 10% rule apply, being that if an item is modified 10% from its' original, it becomes a singularly different item? I just asked the question if you were breaking the flag code. I didn't point out anyone specifically.
Just that most here seem to be really hard line patriotic. So why wouldn't you follow the code?
FU *****, no not being personal, sure you're not, just being an *******, I get it. F off!
I am not admiting to being personal or an *******, but what was your intention by posting a deffinition? Maybe my "analogy" of what the guy said was religiously biased. See opinions are like ********, everybody has one.
Did you read it? It isn't against the law to wear clothes, towels, chairs or jewelry that have the U.S flag. Most of the code is for proper displaying, handling, and disposing of the U.S. flag.
"While wearing the colors may be in poor taste and offensive to many, it is
important to remember that the Flag Code is intended as a guide to be followed on
a purely voluntary basis to insure proper respect for the flag. It is, at least,
questionable whether statutes placing civil or criminal penalties on the wearing of
clothing bearing or resembling a flag could be constitutionally enforced in light of
Supreme Court decisions in the area of flag desecration.51"

I read it. I said, are you breaking the flag code, or in violation of the flag code. Nowhere in that sentence do I say, "Are you breaking the law."
