Other than that the museum of course. Lincoln Memorial drive (the pic I posted above is Bradford beach - more women - and right off LMD.), Ride over the Hoen Bridge (the one the Blues Brothers drove off before it was complete) to Bayview and hit the taverns, Brady Street, just up from Water Street (which is downtown), the Harley Dealers (Milwaukee Harley has a strip club in the same lot and it gets pretty crazy during rallies), etc, etc. I promise, you won't get bored.

ahhhh... yeah, I just looked. Another place I stopped in was Water Street Brewery. I had the best beer there I have ever had. Raspberry Weiss. Sounds funny but amazing beer if you like Raspberry. I will be stopping back there again definitely.
Bring on August. I am so ready. Need to ride and need to party.
Searching for good beer, food, and fun events/activities/rides. Having relatives there and been there before, don't need any of the tourist stuff. Don't care about age, just don't have any need for grumpy blue hairs or 1%er stuff. Relatives have a cabin in the Dells, so we'll probably end up there on Monday. Thanks for all your input!
Nevada72 - we grabbed a couple of Camp Sites down in Caledonia near Racine at Cliffside Park. It looks like this is a 20-25 min ride south of Milwuakee. Just checking in to see if you know of this place and if you think it will work out ok for us?

Cliffside park is a as close as you'll get to Milwaukee and still be camping. I don't know the park all that well, but as far as location, you did well. 7 Mile Rd is not at all far from the city. You could also take 32 through South Milwaukee (not to be confused with south Milwaukee), and ride north along the lake through Bayview. It will be a nice back door to all the festivities - especially the Summerfest grounds.
For all concerned - just be aware that the farther you lodge/camp off the interstates, the more likely to have an encounter with local suburban/small town/rural LE. They will be out in force and looking for revenue. For you Half Throttle, that means Caledonia and South Milwaukee police. Bayview is not an issue.
Also - everyone should know that on any given day of the year, the I-94 corridor - ESPECIALLY within 20 miles of the Illinois border, is one big radar trap. Speeds of up to 72/73 are overlooked for the most part. But they will have a lot of eyes on you as you roll in.
But also remember - Milwaukee is VERY bike friendly. Cops do not go out of their way to single out riders here. Hell - most of them ride. Keep it cool and you will be left alone.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I have not verified it, but it came from a very reliable source. Contact the local Milwaukee dealers for email information for the Chapter officers.

About 30 minutes north of downtown Milw and just North of Port Washington. Right off I-43. I used to commute daily from 15 minutes north (away from the city). It's not a bad ride.
As of right now 10-12 rooms available confirmed by phone.
Good luck.
