Our rental is only minutes from all the Harley 110th activities.
I'll post pictures of the inside of the apartment on this website:
You may want to mention to non-northerners that the snow on your front yard will be melted by then.
Fwiw, when I'm out of town on business I seek out furnished apartments. So much nicer than a hotel.
My wife (born & raised in Glendale) made me say that!
Lol - yeah "WFB" means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It's all good. I was just happy it stopped raining long enough to get the bike out for a short hop.
A sire 110 participants will see for sure - minus the snow fences.
Riding up from Southern Colorado. This will be our (wife & I) first time to the big party. Staying with relatives within 20 minutes of Summerfest park. Having never been, do we bring a blanket to sit on? What else should we bring? What to expect inside with a ticket? Thanks!

Most of the venues will have seating available. If you buy the ticket and do the Summerfest stages they all have seating available. Bands inside the Marcus Amphitheater (which is on the Summerfest gounds) is mostly assigned seating but there are grass seats. May need a blanket there. People need to know that the Henry Maier Festival Park and Summerfest Grounds are interchangeable terms. Meaning they are one in the same.
Expect BIG crowds. So plan ahead. I was at the 90th,95th,100th & 105th and by in large the crowds were very well behaved. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. Temp can drop quickly at the Summerfest grounds because of Lake Michigan, however, in August it may feel good.
Bring lots of money. There will be lots of opportunities to spend it Check out the HD Dealers and take time to ride around outside the metropolitan area of Milwaukee. Don't need to ride far and be in some very nice countryside especially SW, West and North. Of course, pack rain gear just in case. Don't drink and drive in Milwaukee County. There are no second chances there. Or don't get caught
Thanks for the info. So if we want to see ZZ Top, we still have to buy tickets? Or are the seats first come, first serve? Thx
I was under the impression the only ticketed concerts were Toby Keith, Aerosmith and Kid Rock. Lynrd Skynard is for Hog members only though. All others should be first come - first serve on seating.
Should be a good party looking at the first bands listed. Can't wait to see the remaining bands.

For anyone traveling a long distance, If I was you, I would buy the Anniversary ticket. Why? Because then you are assured you have access to everything in the Summerfest grounds and elsewhere. Below is the lineup and dates.

Thanks! I bought our tickets the day they went on sale. Bike is ready, have tickets, have beds at relatives in Hartland, now just figuring out itenerary so we can maximize our time! Never having been, I want to hit all the must see stuff while we're there. Plan on hitting the HOG 30th on Thursday and seeing Lynard Skynard. Not sure about what all to see & do over the next 3 days. Would very much like to see ZZ Top out of all the bands lined up and have Museum passes, so plan on going though it. Have a friend at one of the dealers who is having a pig roast on saturday (I believe), so other than that, not sure what the "must see" activities will be... so any input is appreciated!!
