Default Camping 35 minutes to HD festival

Thanks for the help NEVADA 72,

I have had alot of questions instead of answering them all I just will add the lastest email I sent out to an inquirer. However any other questions just ask

the camping set up is on a 2 acre area of my 12 acres, HWY 83, it is off the freeway I-43 by approximately 3 miles, we arelocated in the country part of Mukwonago in the southern Kettle Moraine, yet a minute or two back to a gas station and grocery store, and pretty much anything needed. We are providing “port A Johns” and pricing out a portable shower system. The shower is not a definite yet as its $1000 a day and until I know it will be covered can’t justify it , so we are just offering showers from 10am till 2pm in our home. We have two firepits and our property is secluded considering the close proximity to the town. Trailers and Travel trailers not a problem as I have a large parking area. The price is $50 per person per night, the campingtrailer is a one time fee of $150 and that allow selectric and the ability to drain the septic.

Im attaching two pics of the land, I will look for a summer picof the front, the rear is attached to 5000 acre reserve, fishing is there if its something that interests you.

Regards,

Joey

Joey - What is the cross road / highway to I-43 (Hwy 83?)? Might provide a better frame of reference for someone who wants to look up the area on a map and see where you are in relation to the Harley soiree.

Also, that picture with snow is not in September is it?????? jk [I'm a former Cheesehead from Milwaukee ]

Delafield Legion "Riders Ranch" Campground during Harley 110th Anniversary Week Aug. 27th - Sept. 2nd, 2013

Camping is FREE to all veterans and their guests but we will gladly accept donations and hope you will stop in and have a drink or two as well. In order to reserve a spot in advance, we would appreciate a tax deductible donation in advance.
Suggested minimum donations would be;
$20/day for 20x20 tent site
$35/day for RV site
$40/day for RV site with electric
We are located about 25 miles West of the Milwaukee lakefront very near I-94. We could provide limited 120v/20amp power, water, hard surface and grass parking, regular bathrooms, wi-fi, a temporary shower, as well as having our Post open most of the time anyway. We have about 6 acres available. We have food and adult beverages inside the Post. We can do a mix of tent and trailer/RV camping depending on demand. We have a strong contingent of Legion Riders at our Post. We have a baseball diamond, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a playground, an outdoor pavilion with picnic tables, grilles, a lighted parking lot, and quick, easy access to the freeway about a 1/2 mile away. Since we are located in a residential neighborhood, this will be a quiet campground with no entertainment or vendors outside. We may have a band INSIDE if we have enough campers. We have room for about 125 tents and about 20 RV's. Currently we have about 1/2 of those spoken for already.
We are located at 333 N. Lapham Peak rd., Delafield, WI 53018. You can view our location on Google Earth and other mapping sites.
If you are interested in more details please contact;

Not my first pick for a hotel. But way closer than from home. We are coming across the lake from Muskegon Mi.
That's a great spot hddan. You will be practically across the street from Racine H-D. Two options for heading up to Milwaukee...head up the street a few miles to I-94 (although I wouldn't right now because of construction north of the airport,) or take the route along Lake Michigan, STH 32, to the Lake Parkway, which dumps you off right at Summerfest and the H-D Museum.

Or, you could jump on the 'I' and just get off at Layton. Then take that east to the Lake Parkway.

Can also easily go south on the 'I' a few miles to Uke's H-D who always have a party going on during these anniversary celebrations.

The Holiday Inn Express that was available in Germantown (15 minutes) for $162 is now up over $300.

At this point I know of a few Mom and Pop places within an hour. If you're interested, PM me and I will inquire with them as to availability.
