So I got the siren put on the bike. I also got the pager that goes with it. I have a few questions for those that have this and know how to use them. I can arm disarm the alarm and hear the chirp fine now, and the pager goes off when the alarm goes off. My qeustion is does the alarm just sound for a split second and stop? that is what mine has been doing. I read that it might take time for the siren to fully charge and I have not ridden for long enough to have that happen yet. Is the siren supposed to sounds continuously until I turn it off, or what? WTF? Everything else is fine. the install was a peice of cake...Can someone answer this for me as I frantically search for the answer in older threads...thanks...
Anubisss,
If the bike is moved enough to set off the alarm... it should go off until you disarm it, or at the very least... chip for a couple of minutes or so.
I have the factory siren on my Fat Boy. As I recall, if the alarm is set and you just move the bike a bit it will just sound momentarily, to let you know the alarm is set. When you try and move the bike again or a little further then the sirens sounds until you turn it off.

With my siren, if the bike is jostled the first and second time, it will chirp each time to advise the person messing with the bike that he has triggered an alarm. If, however, you do more than jostle it, or jostle it a third time, the alarm will sound until it is turned off or it times out.
I believe there are at lease 3 or more sensetivity levels mine is set in the middle. it goes off it someone tries to move it a inch or twobut it won't go off if i'mjust touching it.
Had my alarm installed without the siren. I watch the lights flash when I'm out. I don't get very far from my bike anyway. I'm hard of hearing. I see flashing lights real good.
