Another HD store to close down
Rossmeyers in Fort Lauderdale Fl is to close by the end of this year. Really pissed they have the best parts guys, bought 2 bikes from them, and the sales staff are good. Some employees will be transferred to the Sunrise store which is a long trek.
My other nearest store is about 15 miles north but is smaller and does not carry as much inventory.
This economy is just sad.

It's got to be crappy business on the dealer's part or maybe oversaturation of certain markets. You hear of dealers closing in certain areas, but also new ones being built in other areas. Tampa Harley is in the process of building a new store in Panama City Beach.

Eastern Shore Harley Davidson, Daphne AL is also closing at the end of this month.

I read that to, but I'm not so sure he wants to sell bikes. He may just want the buildings. Wait and see I guess.

The Clearwater dealership closed this summer after the owner died. But the Tampa one is always busy. They have a lot of charity rides that end at dealership. They have bands & events, bars, food. It's a large area they have there.
