I have ridden both and i like them both, i would have to go with the Heritage because it already has a Windshield and bags.

Another question, what is it about your Sportster that you like? What is it about it you don't like?

Love the Fatboy. Son in law has a beaut. However, my Heritage Classic gave me the cool looks when I took the sissy bar, back seat, saddlebags and windshield off and put a solo seat on. It even looked damn good with the bags still on. In a matter of minutes I could change from a cruiser to a tourer to anything in between. I put custom wheels, pipes, paint and other touches on but those were totally unnesassary. Just things for you to consider. Ride safe.

I originally only had a Fatboy in my sights when I went looking. The one I actually went down to buy (used) was sold. Turned out better for me either way because I picked up the Heritage. Much prefer the retro look of Heritage/Deluxe bikes and don't like the solid wheels on the Fatboy at all.

Very simialar bikes, though. All boils down to what style you're after and what you do with the bike.
