No it's not just you! It is bad as the many threads, especially in Touring, from owners of new bikes wanting to change their bars, because they can't get comfortable. It hasn't occurred to them to adjust the darned things! Over the years it has seemed to me that every Harley I have test ridden has the bars set up a little too high for my liking, but it is pretty easy to put that right - or get the dealer to do it!
Spanners, don't study posts too closely in HDF, otherwise you'll go round the bend! There are a great many more where that Dyna one came from.
