WIX filters

The local orielly auto parts where i live carries wix brand filters for for harley's. Has anyone used these and are they ok?

I use them an have no problems with them. My only problem was finding a filter socket to fit the bottom to loosen. End up with a 3 fingered one to remove them.

WIX makes probably the best filters on the market. Been using them for 40 years Can't go wrong with one. Find an exploded picture of one and you'll see their quality against what others are offering.

The return holes are smaller than the Moco filters, close but not as good. I normally like wix but smaller filter and smaller holes means less oil filtered/restricted flow. For a $1 more I will stick with Moco filters.

I run the 5 micron wix filters that state HD specific. No problems and $3 cheaper than HD

I use Wix in most all my stuff. they've been around a long time and make those odd ball hard to find ones

I also use Wix filters in every thing that I own that has an oil/air and cabin filter right down to my lawn tractor! I buy them in bulk so I have some what of a store front shelf in my garage of wix filters. Oil, air and cabin air for 2 HD's, 3 vehicles, lawn tractor and my boat.
