I don't know if this is allowed or not, this is my husband'sterritory, but I thought I'd give it a try. My husband is turning 50 next week and to say he is "bummed" about it would be an extreme understatement. I know he really enjoys talking to you all on here and thought maybe a couple of you could just wish him Happy Birthday and/or those of you at the great age of 50+ give him a little pep talk. I'm hoping he'll look at it as being 1 year closer to retirement (aka more bike time), but I have my doubts that's how he sees it.
Anyway, thanks guys (and gals), hope everyone has a great weekend!
Hey.... Happy Birthday you old bastard.... I wish that I was that young again. I had a couple of crashes... but the last one almost took me with it.....believe me... just be glad that you're still here.
Well, your husband could be 62 with a RK and loving every minute of the experience. He's got a lot of years to enjoy his Harleys.
Or he could be 63 with a Heritage Softail Classic -- and loving every minute of the experience. 50? Pffft. He has a long, long way to go. And that retirement, with all the bike time you could want, is something to look forward to as well. I've never had it so good.
