Just two cents from a pissed off HD rider. To those of you overseas here in Europe, I'm here in Stuttgart, GE and over the past few months I've been ordering a few harley items. Just wanted to give a heads up to those ordering online, ordered from Licks Cycles and received my stuff in a few weeks, ordered from Cardo Systems and had my item in only a week!!! I ordered some chaps from the Biker's Den, www.bikersDen.com, middle of April and it's now 9 May. Called and got a number of BS excuses why they had not even as yet been shipped, for example, int'l warehouses having problems shipping to APO and also not enough man power to take care of all the orders in a timely manner. Not sure about everyone out there, but if you're like me-you want your stuff yesterday and time spent w/out your stuff sucks!! Just thought I'd pass this along. iRob
I can understand your frustration, but at least you've got an APO address and usually you get your stuff pretty quickly.Whenever I order parts from the States (to Italy)it takes forever.A couple days ago I lost my car keys (Chevy HHR) and since that model is not imported in Europe I had to order the keys and the remotes from the US and only God knows when I'll be able to drive my car again.I wanted to buy Jason's cooling fans but probably I would get them around Christmas, therefore I'll wait for my next trip home to do my shopping.Good luck with your chaps!
Sorry about your APO problems. I was there 85 to 88 and rode all year long as long as there wasn't any snow. I do hope you get out and ride the country. I know i miss riding over there.

Ciao Louisan, FYI I ordered my FCS 26th April and it's on my bike already, here in Germany. Bought on 26th April, shipped same day (from Arizona) via USPS, April 29th left LA , 1st May landed in Frankfurt - Germany. A couple of days wasted by DHL to send it to custom, 6th may customs sends me a letter to pay duty and VAT I picked it up 10th May as 9th May was a holiday day here in Germany.
Not too bad considered everything. Don't know how quick Italian customs can sort the thing out there in Rome, but I was positively surprised, everything considered.
Another time 2 years ago when I ordered a bunch of stuff from lake Shore Harley when it still was possible, it took nearly a month to6 weeks. But Jason sent the FCS pronto.

Hey Ghira, the problem is not with the sender but with the slow Customs.Luckily I go back to the US 4/5 times a year and every time I return to Italy I also have to bring back parts for friends!!!!!!
