Lot's of great riding,only thing I can think of in Maggie Valley worth stopping for is the Wheel's Through Time Museum,worth the trip there.

Lots of motels, bars, tourist stuff. A nice place to use as headquarters for a trip to some of the best riding in the country.

The Blue Ridge Parkway, Tail of the Dragon, Smokey Mountain National Park, the Biltmore Estate, and many miles of scenic mountain roads to explore are near M/V.

Go there. You won't regret it. Stay at the Maggie Valley Inn. Very motorcycle friendly. We have 18 couples staying there over Labor Day Weekend just like last year. Like another individual said here...use it as your "headquarters" for: The Tail of the Dragon, The Cherahola Skyway, The Rattler, The Moonshiner28/Hellbender, Foothills Parkway, cruise thru Smoky Mountain National Park & of course The Blue Ridge Parkway. Some of the best riding in the nation in that area. Try & go to Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson in Maryville if you can. Great dealer with events all the time.
