Default 1998 Electraglide Stall

I was riding the other night when the engine started to stall momentarily and restart. This happened frequently and a couple of times I had to pull over and whae I used the starter it would start right up and idle fine. I would continue riding and it would continue to momentarily stall and restart mostly at higher speeds above 25 MPH. Anyone ever have this kind of problem?

First thing that comes to mind is the coil is going out.

1998 M & M fuel injected ?
Momentary stall probably over a bump.
Go to right side cover (throttle side). The painted plastic cover under the seat on right side.
Remove saddle bag, pop cover off, look for the black push-in and twist connector that is very well hidden behind the triangle tube of frame.
That connector is the crank position sensor connection and it gets loose.
The loose connector causes a stall issue.
Common and most people do not know about it.
Requires almost zero money to fix.
Open, clean, close and just get several zip tie's and zip it to frame in a manner that it will not get loose again ever.
The crank position sensor starts right next to your oil filter head on left side of bike (clutch) and runs along left side of motor and then crosses over to right side near the transmission and then runs up the frame and behind that cover as it continues to the ECM (computer).
Check it first and then come back.
Alternatively a fuel issue but that would cause a bogging down and not a stall issue.

I had a similar issue, turned out to be the main ignition wire in the harness near the steering head.

Smile Thanks for all the advice

Turned out that IM hit it right on. I started the bike and tapped on the crankshaft indicator plug under the cover on the right side while the engine was running and sure enough it shut down. I super tightened the plug and tie wrapped it in place and then tested it the same way and it kept running. Thanks IM and I also appreciate everyone's input.

First: Thank you for returning and confirming it was resolved.
Sometimes people take the information and run.
There are many people that have the same problem and are unable to diagnosis that one issue.
People go to the dealer and no solution results since it is time consuming if you do not know were to look.
Many have given-up and spent money to convert to a carb.
That is the second time in 6 weeks that same exact issue has repeated and been resolved for FREE.
When it happened to me i was scratching my head for a while until i finally pin pointed the problem.
