Default Rusty front wheel after storage

Long story short, I just got back from some Uncle Sam mandated time overseas and pulled my '12 FLSTC out of storage. It was supposed to be climate controlled, it wasn't.
I know have a nice crescent of rust on my front wheel and the spokes from condensation settling on the wheel.
No other rust anywhere on the bike.

Any good products for eliminating and protecting against rust on wheels and chrome?

That was my first thought, but steel wool would just make more scratches and set the stage for more rust down the road wouldn't it.

Yep, just getting settled in. Got orders here instead of a retirement approval.

Hunter is not a bad place, we lived on post, actually enjoyed it what little I was there. 2/4 Cav back in the 24th days. AH-1s then went on to fly 64s. Got my spurs with the 24th.

Try using SemiChrome. It comes in a small tube and has a fine abrasive in it. It does a great job on aluminum and it cleans chrome up nicely.

Hoping to get on base, long wait list though. Seems nice down here too.
Got my spurs with 4/3 ACR in '03 wrenching on 58's.

Hadn't thought of S100, will swing by the dealer tomorrow to see if they have any in stock.
