Best friend crashed.
I visited him yesterday and I was happy to see that his moral was not to bad. One of the first thing I told him was to keep hope as the doctor are wrong sometime. Few moment later, a physiotherapeutic told him that it take up to 6 weeks to know the verdict. Shortly after I arrived, two other friend showed up. One of them is in a wheel chair since 2010 from a truck accident. He explained what is happening and what will come next. This guy is an hero...he was smiling and making joke that make Mike laugh a bit.
There was an other sad story to talk about, an other common friend had a crash right after he visit Mike. A ****ing ******* when through a red light and ram him. Thanks God he is ok....no serious injuries but his XLR 1200 is total. The worst, he wont be able to visit Mike for few days.
I told Mike that he has lot of people here that encourage him and his family. I'm keeping my finger cross and hoping for the best for my best friend.
Thanks Brothers !

He hunts from his quad which has hand shifter. Was the owner and head mechanic of a snowmobile hill climb team for team arctic cat. Builds high end cars, converted a side by side to hand controls put a ford van on a dodge truck chassis with a dodge truck nose on it the guy is amazing and he is in the research stage of getting back on a trike.
If he wants to he finds a way and sometime even make the government change the rules to allow him to do the things he loves to do. he got the government to rule his quad as a powered wheel chair to allow him to hunt.
Before his accident he was the mechanic a Honda motorcycle dealership now he works from home doing what he did before but without the stress of a boss. So I guess what you need to do is find some positive people who are physically limited to and look to them for guidance as to what to say or do to help your friend.
Most of all be his friend be honest and be there for him it will be a long road and it will not be easy for him or his family. Hell it will not be easy for you either he is never going to be the same his personality will change so will his out look on life.
good wishes to his family
