help with virginia lane split petition
used to live in northern va. moved to san diego and need help getting this petition going. we only need 260 more electronic signatures to petition.
please help the cause.
reduce traffic congestion
less change of getting rear ended at the lights
keep your bike from overheating in the grueling traffic that is northern VA

Lane splitting is something I do a lot of but it really doesn't stop getting hit from the rear, even moving up to the front pisses some drivers off and if your not fast enough on the green- close calls are even greater- as well as abrupt lane changers are dangerous and cage mirrors that stick out. Here in Cal they say it shouldn't be done moving faster then 35 mph, hell even that is too fast I think, crawls (under 5 mph) or stopped traffic at a light is about the only time I do it. but I'll sign it for ya
