And what if you get a bit jittered some day and use it?
How does time inside feel.
Not sure why anyone wants or needs to carry
wait till someone has a gun at your or your families head holding you at gunpoint and your gonna wish the guy across the way was carring if you were not. You will soon realize why ANYONE would need it.
Hey Vegas - I see your point but in my 52 years on this earth I don't know anyone (personally) who's had a gun pulled on them or been held up. Hear plenty of that $hit going on in Toronto though - lots of gangs in certain areas.
If someone did have a gun at the head of one of my family I would do my best to talk my way out - than of course I'd want the bastard dead.
I can see both sides but I've been fortunate enough not to need one so far.
(Here in CanadaI'd be strung up anyway)
Stay safe -
I totally agree.....
I do know of only 1 person who was a neighbor who shot someone. He was 60+ years old and it saved his life and his wifes life.
I hope no one I know ever has the problem that revolves around a gun. But if the time arises I know I would be ready to help someone who may have not been brought up the same way as me.
Is it the fact that i have a right to have just as much fire power as my local LEO?
hmm the last guy I knew had that much fire power Killed 2 state troopers, 1 judge and a newspaper editor. Leaving people injuried. His name was Carl Degra http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Drega
I don't own a bike yet, but I do have a permit and do carry concealed and probably will do so when I do get a bike.
I was kind of disappointed when the Harley dealer I went to had a NO WEAPONS sign on the door. I didn't see such signs at the Honda and Kawasaki dealers I stopped by at. Though I suppose the regular rice biker doesn't carry any type of protection.
I would normally avoid any business that tells me I can't carry when it would otherwise be legal to do so in any other business in the area and isn't a governmentbuilding , but I will make the exception.
Every time I see one of these 'pistol packin' Pete' threads, in my head I hear the tune "Macho, Macho Man" by the Village People. I always also wonder how many of you modern day gunslingers have ever actually shot another person, let alone killed them. Talking/posturing about it's one thing; doing it is another. Just sayin'.
Have a "Gunslinger" leather vest with inside vest pocket which can carry any of my Glock's easily.. Bought at the Leather Mill in Phoenix. On hot days when I don't wear my vest, I like my Harley "Cargo Pants" which have deep, easy to reach in pockets to carry one of my Glocks. My personal carry preference is my G26 with the extra two shot magazine extender ( nice for the pinky finger to rest on) in a DeSantis inside the pocket holster. For less than $20, this is a great holster to carry your weapons inside of your pants pockets with no sign of printing. They make all sizes to fit most weapons.
CCWPermit Holder, Para Ordnance 9mm, IWB holster. I carry every time I leave my house, mode of transportation does not matter. Never had to pull my weapon and hope I never do but at least I have the option.

It's rather common for Chicken Little types to respond in that manner. I am sorry that my choice to carry a concealed weapon gives you an inferiority complex.
Well for starters, this topic belongs in Off Topic. Aside from that, this would be the last place I would post anything about what I carry, how I carry, when I carry, why I carry, etc...etc...
