Default Shifter Linkage

Have any of you guys mounted the front shifter linkage to the inside of the front linkage arm.I did and I like it.It's a straight shot to the back arm versus angled in when mounting on the outside of the front arm.It tucks in closer to the motor also

As long as there is clearance, it'll work fine. Neat linkage rod.

Every Harley I've owned came with the linkage mounted on the inside ...

Are there any negatives on swapping the Front of the linkage rod from the left side[stock] to the right side of the arm where mine is now. Both my 01EG and my 13 RG both have the front mounted on the left side. I did have to adj. the rod a little longer so it missed the cyl. fins.It seems to work better than stock.

I'm trying to understand why you would want to move the linkage rod. Anyways, just so you have clearance, I see no problem swapping from left to right.
